The Wethersfield Town Council will vote on a resolution to commit millions of dollars of COVID funding for the town to build a Sports Complex on Kycia Farm. We have no details, no impact study, no idea whether this would eclipse all other uses of the land that the public input showed. Sports Complexes are FOR PROFIT, they operate all hours, all seasons and bring in people from all over CT. Parking lots, lights. Kycia Farms is situated in the middle of quiet neighborhood streets. WE NEED MORE INFORMATION before the Town Council commits funding to this.
