Marilyn Monroe….I’ve seen every biopic and the current completely defame the real legacy and person behind Marilyn Monroe. The world doesn’t know even the slightest about who she really was and in fact decades of people have been grossly misinformed. My script uses authentic sources - her audio tapes and her diary to recall her life ONLY. I want to present HER. Norma Jeane Baker. The entirety of her. A biopic that covers her life EXACTLY how she tells it herself. A biopic that shows her growth, her thoughts, her beliefs, her painful journey with endometriosis and infertility, her happiest moments and her saddest, her wishes, her great level of intelligence, an authentic take on her sexuality and duality, her charitable moments, her heart, her strength, her interests, vulnerabilities, and her accomplishments as a driven woman in the film industry. And yes….this side of her story is still wildly entertaining enough - more so. We will see her for the first time from a supporting female gaze who understands her and is enthusiastic to give her voice a listen.
