Help save community youth soccer! Hundreds of children in Sacramento, California have unfairly lost access to public parks where they have been playing soccer for over a decade. Sacramento Soccer Alliance (SSA) is an affordable, community-based, seasonally competitive soccer club run by parents and volunteer coaches. This year, the City of Sacramento gave away permits for SSA’s home fields to a more traditional year-round soccer club. Even though City guidelines say permits should go to groups like SSA that are the historical users of the fields. We need your help! Tell the City of Sacramento to give Bahnfleth Park and Conlin Sports Complex back to SSA. Without these fields, the future of accessible, affordable youth soccer in Sacramento is at stake.
