Since January 2023, the Manila US Embassy has largely stopped issuing interview dates to mostly spouse visa applicants. Other visas are being processed but for some reason they are withholding appointments from spouse visa applicants. Spouse visas should be some of the most rapidly approved visa categories while still applying the same level of scrutiny as other visas. The toll on the mental health of couples waiting is high. Please resume issuing appointments immediately!!
