There is a genocide in Gaza. As of Dec. 12 over 20,000 Palestinian civilians have been killed as a result of the Israel military's indiscriminate bombing. Access to food, drinking water, and medicine have been cut off. There has been overwhelming international outcry to stop the bombing, but pleas for a ceasefire are falling on deaf ears for government officials in Israel and the US.
It's not only politicians that are supporting Israel as it carpet bombs a population that is 50% children. It's companies such as McDonald's that are pledging free meals to Israel's military forces, Starbucks which is suing their union for voicing support for Palestine, and dozens of other companies that have stated support for Israel. These companies are complicit in the genocide, and they must be held accountable by we the consumers.
Together, we are sending a clear, unified message: We will not support those who enable such horrendous acts. We have the power to speak for those who are silenced by force.
Companies included in the email:
McDonald's, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Domino's Pizza, Papa Johns - Donating meals to Israeli soldiers or supporting apartheid Israel.
Starbucks - Suing the Starbucks workers union for speaking up about Palestine.
Amazon and Google - Signed billion dollar contracts to provide cloud technology to Israel government and militar.
Disney - Donating to Israel and promoting pro-Israel Marvel superhero movie.
Airbnb - Hosting rentals in illegal settlements built on stolen land.
PUMA - Sponsoring the Israel Football Association which includes teams in illegal settlements. (Success! PUMA is pulling their sponsorship.)

I'm just one person, but I'm outraged by the violence. My goal with organizing this campaign is to mobilize others who are outraged to flood the inboxes of these companies to pressure them to issue a statement against the bombing of Gazans and do what they can to stop the genocide. This is an organized, peaceful effort to use our voices to make a difference!
