On 7/29, GCPS School Board passed policies on first reading, with no public comment on the agenda during a special meeting with only 7 days notice. The VDOE had not issued their draft or final guidance yet, and parents and staff had no opportunity to review the policy and offer feedback. This campaign is to ask them to revise the policy to be more aligned with the, since released, draft VDOE guidance and give the public opportunity to participate in our representative government.
