Firehouse Subs advertised free medium combo for veterans which was to include a medium sub, chips, and a drink.  My wife called to asked how long they were doing the veteran meal and they said they were doing it until they closed at 9:00 pm.  They opened at 10:30 am when we arrived at 12:00 pm they were no longer honoring it as they said quote “corporate emailed them saying they was over the donation limit”
