We are asking parents, teachers, and neighbors to sign a letter to City and school leaders. We want them to make Somerville Public Schools a top priority in next year’s budget (FY27). This means making sure special education gets the funding it deserves. 

We are fighting for a budget that protects the people and services our students need every day. This includes special education teachers, aides, reading and math specialists, and the tools needed to make our classrooms work for everyone. 

A city’s budget shows its true values. If Somerville wants strong, fair schools, the budget must prove it. Our community deserves to know exactly how student needs will be met.
