Since the beginning of the coronavirus, the group of workers that have been impacted the most have been nurses. We have been required to re-use PPE , have unsafe patient ratios, change our schedules, increased our workload, move from our area of nursing. And even forced to work overtime because of the lack of nursing support. All of us have not seen a difference on our paycheck , and because we are working more federal taxes are more as well. It's time to put an end to this. Stop letting people walk over us, stop letting facilities tell us what to do, and stop helping nationwide when the nation is not doing anything for us. Let's get together and be one, not show up to work for a day so the nation see how much we are needed. Yes, like every nurse I have a heart and care for my patients. But at the end of the day nobody is caring for us. We are EXHAUSTED, we are starting to hate the career we once loved so much, and we are tired of not being recognized for all we had been doing for over a year already. The least we deserve Is to be exempt from federal taxes, especially those that have been forced to work over 40 hours.
