Hello, my name is... and I'm calling to demand justice for the veteran you fired for having a mental health issue, the disabled lady the manager frequently refers to as "the retarded one", the gentleman you kicked out of your gym for having an eye condition, and the lady you banned from your gym for reporting a sexual harassment.
Last summer, a gentleman was kicked out of the gym after being accused of "staring" at people. However, his eyes are deformed not to look straight ahead when he is facing straight ahead. In the fall, an employee with PTSD and ADHD was let go after issues relating to mental health, which she shared with her veteran coworker. Multiple people have heard the manager refer to a disabled member with speech issues as "the retard". In the spring, a woman was banned from the gym after describing a sexual harassment, with the issue not being 100% investigated. Recently, a military veteran was let go after asking for a break due to mental health issues. The veteran had not threatened anyone, and had waited for manager permission to leave the building. Employees and members are being unfairly discriminated against, and there is a very clear pattern against the disabled and mentally ill. Two good employees were let go due to struggling with mental illness. This shows Planet Fitness is in need of new management.
Apologize to the veteran, replace your managers, and find someone who will show compassion and empathy to our mentally ill population.
